Come to learn tips & tricks to help you prepare for a more comfortable pregnancy, birth, and postpartum!
During the workshop we will:
learn hands-on comfort measures to help mom avoid unnecessary discomfort during pregnancy and labour
learn labour positions for different stages and scenarios experienced in birth
talk about the benefits of doula support during pregnancy, birth and postpartum
learn from a RMT about the benefits of massage for pregnancy, postpartum, and infants
discuss the importance of pelvic floor health- and what you can be doing now
experience a yoga demonstration, teaching you gentle poses for a more comfortable pregnancy
discuss the benefits of placenta encapsulation for a better postpartum
so much more!

Alissa Blaise: Alissa Blais is a yoga teacher, wellness advocate, outdoor adventurer and mother of two. She specializes in pre and post natal yoga and fitness and inspires mothers to have a positive pregnancy, birth and post natal experience. Her passion is to encourage mothers to find inner strength, a healthy and active lifestyle, a positive mindset and to nourish you’re their bodies from the inside out in order to live a life they truly love. Kaley McKay: Kaley is a registered physiotherapist at GetMoving Physio in Barrie. Kaley has a special interest in pelvic health, particularly as it relates to pregnancy, birth, and beyond. As a clinician, Kaley focuses on education, empowerment, and exercise to help her clients prepare their bodies for pregnancy and delivery, and both prevent and treat pelvic floor dysfunctions such as pelvic pain, incontinence, prolapse, and "mummy tummy". She is passionate about increasing awareness and decreasing stigma around these 'hard-to-talk-about' topics!
